This morning (or this afternoon for those at the Frankfurt Book Fair) The Bookseller announced their shortlists – finalists for those of us on this side of the pond – for their eight annual award categories in the FutureBook Awards.  We’re honored to have Junction named as one of the five shortlisted platforms in the prestigious Platform of the Year – Reference/Education category.  From the competition web site:

The FutureBook Awards celebrate companies and individuals who are playing a key role in driving innovation within publishing.

Working with publishers and content providers to enable and deliver superior teaching and learning experiences on screens is central to what we do at Junction.  That’s why we’re particularly proud of this selection as it speaks not only to our efforts but those of our publisher partners, authors and instructional designers as well – it takes a village to build and deliver intuitive, effective digital learning.

Congratulations to all of our fellow shortlisters and thanks to the judges as we all seek to enable and support publishing into the 21st century and beyond. We anxiously await the 1st of December. In the interim if you’re a publisher and would like to learn more about Junction please drop us a line.
